Built-in assistants are pre-made for common tasks. Custom chatbots are created by you and can be tailored with a name, personality, and optional knowledge you provide.
Yes. You can rename your chatbot anytime in Chatbot Manager.
Not at this time. Custom avatars come from the curated Creatorz+ baby-bot collection.
Open your custom bot in Chatbot Manager, then add knowledge by pasting text or uploading a supported file.
Knowledge uploads currently support TXT files.
Yes—user-created chatbots remain private unless you deliberately choose to make them public or share them.
If sharing options are available for your chatbot, you can choose to make it public. Nothing is shared automatically.
Yes. You can edit or delete your custom bots from Chatbot Manager.
Disabled chatbots remain saved, but you can’t actively use them until you enable them again.
Yes—if duplication is available in Chatbot Manager, it’s a quick way to copy a bot and adjust the settings without starting over.
Use the bot’s test or preview experience (if available) and try a few realistic prompts, including edge cases. Adjust the bot and re-test until it behaves as expected.
Not necessarily. Chatbots can use the messages in your current conversation, but long-term memory depends on the features enabled for your account and bot settings.
Your custom chatbots stay private unless you deliberately choose to share them. You can edit, disable, duplicate, make private, or delete them from Chatbot Manager.
Knowledge added to a chatbot is connected only to the chatbot you select.
